Courses 2008 under way...

Hi everyone,
our courses 2008 are under way.
Everyone seems to be enjoying their time with us in Kilkenny.

We have been all around Ireland already: Dublin, Glendalough, and in and around Kilkenny of course. Some students are totally new to the Western culture - some of our students are from Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia - they are having a blast here!

Our other students come from all over Europe - Spain, Germany, Italy and France - some of them have been to Ireland before. All in all a great mix and we are all getting on very well.

Our summer courses 2008 are about to start.
Preparations here with us in Kilkenny are running high and some last arrangements are being prepared...

We are busy looking for host families at the moment so its all go.

There are a couple of surprise activities in store for our students this year so keep your eyes on this page for some hints...
At the moment the weather is not the best. But lets keep our fingers crossed that it will improve and that we can brush the cobwebs off our sun lotions.

We are very much looking forward to all students coming and lets hope the weather holds out and we have a fun filled, dry summer!!!

mackdonald language academy will now offer courses in several languages for local students from Kilkenny. Interested kids and teenagers can now sign up for Spanish, French and German courses on http://www.mackdonald.com/. All classes will be held in the summer months (July and August) in the morning from 9.00 am - 1.00 pm. A great opportunity to brush up your language skills during the holidays...

Sport camps in Kilkenny

mackdonald language academy now offer English summer camps with strong focus on Sport.
Courses are as usual: English in the morning and then activities . In the afternoon we'll play football, hurling, frisbee, tennis with you...
